Today, a meeting of the executive committee has been held where 9 issues have been considered. Thus, during the executive committee the changes in 13 public transport routes were approved. This will optimize the availability of the route network.
Director of the Department of Transport and Communications Vasiliy Klat noted that the tram route No. 4 was launched. It runs from the regional health center to the City Palace of Culture. The bus route №10 was put into operation. New transport was purchased for this purpose. And the buses passing on the route 2 were replaced by new MAZs.
The route of trolleybus 2 is extended, it connects Primorskiy district with Levoberezhnyi one. It runs from the Donetsk Law Institute to ‘Vostochnyi’ microdistrict. It compensates the absence of 157 bus. There are 4 trolleybuses on the line every day. Vasiliy Klat stressed that it is planned to increase the number of units of transport on this route.
The changes have also been made on tram routes: No. 3, 4, and 7. In addition, the routes of private carriers have become more convenient. Among them there are buses №118, 136, 153 and 156. The changes were made according to the wishes of the residents of Mariupol.
