As a part of  ‘Reconstruction of the external lighting network’ project in Mariupol, about 29 thousand old lamps will be replaced with new ones using LED technologies. This decision was made today at a session of the city council.

The project will be implemented due to a loan of more than EUR 11.5 million from the European Investment Bank of Ukraine. Funds are provided to ‘Gorsvet’ municipal enterprise for a period of 15 years.

Due to the new lamps, it will be possible to reduce electricity consumption by 50-60%. In addition, the maintenance costs of maintaining the external lighting will be reduced.
