The new IT cluster was launched in Mariupol

Today, in Mariupol, a Memorandum between city authorities, SPALAH and the public has been signed as a guarantee that the basic conditions for staying the IT school at the territory of the chess club will be respected. Oleksandr Kochurin, the Deputy Mayor, thanked the participants for their partial attitude to the development of chess sport in Mariupol and the creation of a new educational hub.

According to him, signing of the document means the observance of the moratorium on the prohibition of alienation of the City Chess Club premises for three years, the renewal of its material and technical base, the further development of chess sport, and the introduction of a program of support for small and medium-sized businesses on the use of municipal property objects.

“All the points stipulated must unquestionably be followed by representatives of the city authorities and SPALAH. To avoid divergences, some items will be discussed at the session of the Mariupol City Council”, - Oleksandr Kochurin said.

In turn, the representative of the Chess Federation in Mariupol expressed the words of gratitude for the significant contribution to the development of chess sport in Mariupol. Representatives of the ‘People Power’ party noted that the new cluster would bring great benefits, allowing children to master the prestige IT specialties.

We remind you that the SPALAH educational hub plans to create in Mariupol a project aimed at implementing the development of technological business environment. There will be training programs for IT specialists, educational events to exchange experiences and places for comfortable work.
