Today, Deputy Mayor Ksenia Sukhova has congratulated Mariupol orphans on the International Children's Day. She handed over to parents-tutors money certificates and certificates for the purchase of computers, home appliances and furniture.
‘Children are the future and inspiration. On the part of the city authorities, we are doing everything to support our children. We carry out improvement of schools, kindergartens and parks. Three new higher education institutions have been brought to Mariupol so that young people have the opportunity to fulfill their dream without leaving their native city,’ Ksenia Sukhova said.
Besides, children living in family-type homes received gifts from deputies of Mariupol City Council. Before the event, there were sweets and sports equipment for kids.
‘I am proud that in Mariupol there are such parent-teachers who can be called modern heroes. With great joy, we always support their initiatives. We do everything so that the word ‘family’ is significant for each child. Because together we are a big family of Mariupol residents,’ Vladimir Kursky, the deputy of the city council said.
There was a bright concert at the end. It was prepared by the creative teams of the City Center of artistic and aesthetic creativity of student youth.
