“Today we get the result during the day. It allows to break the infection chain. Before the infected could go in the streets for a week, now he is isolated during 24 hours”, the director of the Hospital of emergency health services Serhiy Orleansky explained.

The oxygen, supplied into the hospitals from iron and steel works, is provided on French equipment. It is pure and does not contain any impurities. There were no complications after its usage. It was told by the director of city hospital №9 Volodymyr Zhygil.

There are additional oxygen points in three city hospitals. There are 90 oxygen points in the city hospital. The departments for the treatment of ill patients with COVID-19 in the hospital №1 were supplied with 60 oxygen points.

“City hospital №9 is additionally supplied with 90 oxygen points on the third, fourth and fifth floors. Three oxygen headers are set in the campus. Mobile gas-fired plant fills the gas cylinders with the oxygen as often as required”, the first deputy mayor Mikhailo Kohut told.

In his turn, the deputy mayor Arkadiy Meshkov declared that the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine that enforced the quarantine of the weekend is in action. According to the resolution, grocery shops, chemist’s shops and petrol stations are allowed to be open.
