Awards of merit to Mariupol given for the first time

Before the plenary session started, the City Mayor Vadim Boichenko has awarded Mariupol residents who have made maximum efforts to improve city’s life activity. There were educators, workers in culture, housing and utilities infrastructure, medicine, the representatives of military and security forces, sportsmen and metallurgists.

‘All the changes in Mariupol are made for our children. They ask us to be open, show dynamics in economics and accept infrastructural decisions. All this great work is done by ordinary people. That’s why today we are giving rewards of merit for the first time’,
the City Mayor Vadim Boichenko admitted.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Development of Housing and Utility Infrastructure Petr Cheker was awarded as well. According to him, to be awarded is a great honor. ‘I am moved that my work has been admitted. I have been working for the City Council for more than 8 years. A great trust is given to me and I will try to live it up, not to lose steam, go far and use all the skills to make our city beautiful and blooming’.

The Head Doctor of the City Hospital №1Larisa Mamayeva shared her emotional experience as well. She was given the same rank. She has been working in the field of medicine for 28 years and as the head of the institution for three years.

 ‘It is very pleasant to get such kind of rewards. I consider that it is not just my merit. This is the merit of my team. Our citizens have the right to get high quality medical care and my team will do everything possible for it’, Larisa Mamayeva admitted.
