Leavers of the School of Leaders present their projects in Mariupol

The program of the School of Leaders for Territorial Development has been completed in Mariupol. The heads of structural units of the municipality defended their projects to improve the life of the city. The result of the training was estimated by Mayor Vadim Boichenko.

The authors presented projects on various topics: from creating a strategy of transition from an industrial city to a multifunctional city with a diversified economy to the development of the concept of a single resident's electronic cabinet.

After the presentation of all projects, the best were selected. They are ‘Development of the concept of Smart City. Roadmap and implementation plan ‘ and ‘Development of a concept and measures to reduce water losses, on the basis of ‘Vodokanal’ municipal utility. They shared the first prize.

‘Today, in order to be a leader, to be effective and professional, constant development and improvement of one’s skills is necessary. I am sure that training in this program will help you realize ambitious tasks, and most importantly - you will be able to work better for the benefit of our city’,
the Mayor noted.

It is worth noting that the School of Leaders of Territorial Development is a short program for training managers of city government. The project program includes four training modules. The participants received a basis of knowledge about current trends and approaches of urban development, creativity for the public sector, the effectiveness of teamwork and communication.
