In 2020, Mariupol has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund. Within its framework, they plan to implement a number of initiatives to improve medical infrastructure and services. Carrying out repair work in three outpatient clinics on the basis of Primary Health Care Centers No. 4 and 5 is among them.
Thus, this year it is planned to carry out a major overhaul of the roof and facade with insulation of children's and adult outpatient clinics No. 3 and 4 (on the basis of the Central Primary Health Care Center No. 4). The modernization will make the building more energy efficient. The amount of funding from the UFSI is almost UAH 6 million. Residents will receive medical services in a comfortable and modern environment.
Also, within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to reconstruct the children's outpatient clinic on the basis of the Center for Primary Health Care No. 5 (73 Kyivska Str.). There are plans to carry out repair work both outside and inside the building. Investments from the UFSI - more than UAH 8 million. Today the process of paperwork is being completed.
The project "Promoting the Development of Social Infrastructure - Improving Primary Medicine" was initiated by the Government of Germany. A grant of EUR 14.4 million has been allocated for its implementation in Ukraine through the KfW Development Bank. The project is being implemented by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (UFSI) in cooperation with territorial communities and the management of primary health care institutions.
