Two family outpatient clinics of the Primary Care Center No. 1 have started to work in Mariupol. Now about 50 thousand adults and young Mariupol residents will be able to take advantage of the comfortable conditions of the new institutions. Mayor Vadym Boichenko and the chairman of the Donetsk regional administration Pavlo Kyrylenko appreciated the concept of updated facilities.
In turn, Pavlo Kyrylenko emphasized the importance of such modern facilities in every district of the city: ‘Every resident should have good medical service within walking distance’.
Thus, the outpatient center No. 10 in 33A Kurchatova was built from scratch in just a year. The building has all the conditions for a comfortable reception of patients, modern equipment has been purchased, the premises are equipped taking into account the needs of people with disabilities. You can make an appointment online. Also, for the convenience of residents, a vaccination room and an office for collecting tests are equipped. The total funding amount is about 9.4 million of the city budget and funds of the National Health Service of Ukraine.
According to the deputy mayor Ksenia Sukhova, today the development of medicine is a tripartite responsibility of the authorities, the community and doctors.
‘Today we have committed ourselves to the creation of new medical facilities. We fill them with new meanings. This is our side of responsibility. The residents enter into contracts with doctors and bring funding to these institutions. Thus, the doctor’s salary and motivation are increased. The third responsibility is our medical staff. Their indispensable work and professionalism will become the basis for positive changes in medicine,’ Ksenia Sukhova said.
Besides, Vadym Boichenko and Pavlo Kyrylenko visited the family outpatient clinic No. 5, 6, 8 in 196Metallurgov Avenue. The facility was transformed into a modern medical center. A mother and child’s room is equipped here, an area for children’s recreation is equipped, modern furniture and equipment are purchased. There is a hospital and an emergency room. About UAH 10 million was allocated from the city budget and the National Health Service of Ukraine for the repair and purchase of the equipment.
