Today, a meeting of the executive committee has been held in Mariupol. 57 draft decisions were submitted for consideration. Among them there is the execution of the city budget for the first half of 2019. According to this, the director of the Department of Finance of the Mariupol City Council, Yekaterina Kalenik, reported.
According to her, for the first half of this year, the city budget received revenues in the total amount of UAH 2 billion 736 million. The annual plan is 52% complete. There has been a positive trend in the revenues of our own budget revenues over the past four years. For example, compared with the first half of 2018, the increase amounted to UAH 511 million.
Mayor Vadim Boichenko noted that these indicators were made possible due to decentralization and effective budget management.
There is also a decrease in budget expenditures, compared with the first half of 2018. The bulk of the protected expenses is aimed at supporting the fields of education and social protection of the population - this is more than UAH 1 billion.
