As a part of a working tour, the Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Pavel Kirilenko, together with Mayor, Vadym Boichenko, have visited the Big Construction projects of a medical profile. They got acquainted with the process of creating emergency medical care departments on the basis of two city hospitals No. 1 and 4.

The creation of these departments will provide residents with quality medical services: providing assistance in the shortest possible time, using modern equipment and comfortable living conditions.

‘Mariupol is changing the face of medicine. Every year we open up new opportunities in treatment and diagnosis, service and equipment are improving. We are creating the conditions for quality medical services in order to protect the life and health of Mariupol residents,’ Vadym Boichenko said.

In the city hospital No. 1, the consultation room, X-ray diagnostic room, intensive care unit and a small operating room have been checked. The unique tomograph, with the help of which the doctors make accurate diagnoses and save the lives of the first patients was appreciated. In a word, the entire department will be equipped with new high-tech equipment.

An emergency medical department is also being created on the basis of the city hospital No. 4. It will also be filled with the necessary modern equipment for a qualitative examination of patients. They will install X-ray equipment, an ultrasound machine and create a laboratory.

The main feature will be the separation of patient routes. For example, patients requiring resuscitation will be delivered to the “red” sector. "Yellow" will accept moderate patients. "Green" is intended for patients who independently came to the hospital. There are separate entrances for this.

‘I will save lives in these walls. We will do our best to make patients feel comfortable, receive a top-level examination and qualified help from our doctors,’ Vadym Boichenko said.
