At the 44th session of the city councils it has been decided to establish the city of ‘Mariupol City Center for Support and Development of Small and Medium Business’. The center was created with the aim of effective implementation of Mariupol Development Strategy and creation of the conditions for the development of micro, small and medium-sized businesses.
According to the director of the Department of Economics of Mariupol City Council, Evgeniy Bodyagin, the center's task is to accompany and advise entrepreneurs. On the basis of the institution, they will conduct trainings regarding effective business strategies in modern market conditions. Besides, the center will become a support for attracting investment in the sector of small and medium-sized businesses.
The establishment of Small and Medium Business support center will simplify the access of entrepreneurs to the necessary administrative information. The institution will provide advisory and financial support to new entrepreneurs. As a result, awareness of the possibility of doing business in the city is expected.
It should be noted that the Center will become a mechanism of interaction between local authorities, business representatives and public organizations. At the same time, the institution is guaranteed autonomy in decision-making.
