Students of the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership have presented “Vision of Ukraine 2030” to the President Volodymyr Zelensky. The presentation was held as part of the youth forum “Every Tomorrow Starts Today” at the Mariupol Humanitarian University. Today ‘Vostok Opportunities’ branded train set off from the railway platform to Kiev.
Before the departure, students actively share their impressions. The representative of Mariupol division of UAL from Kiev Dariy Serdyukov spoke about the brightest ideas presented to Vladimir Zelensky.
‘One of the projects was the creation of an interactive museum of augmented reality, which will show the most striking cultural objects of Ukraine from anywhere in the world. We also raised the issue of employment issues for adolescents. They proposed creating a youth HR agency to protect their rights’, Dariy Serdyukov said.
The presentation of proposals in each direction lasted no more than five minutes.It is worth noting, the youth forum was held as part of the Investment Forum "Re: Think Invest in Ukraine". There, 500 UAL students from different parts of the country developed projects in strategically important areas of development - ecology and energy, business innovation, IT, healthcare, science and education for two days.
The presentation of ‘Visions of Ukraine 2030’ was attended by honored guests: US Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine William Taylor, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Anna Novosad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Volodymyr Borodyansky and others. Following the presentation, some projects received support from relevant ministries. Thus, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine will allocate a grant to young leaders to support and implement the project to create a museum of augmented reality.
The students sang songs and repeated their favorite words. The guys also said that they really liked Mariupol. Elizaveta Machuha from UAL Chernivtsi emphasized that the city has many youth spaces and hubs where you can have fun. According to her, Mariupol is a city you want to return to.
