From 5 to 8 in the morning, the cars of the communal enterprise ‘Green Construction’ wash the streets of the city from dust and debris. 180 cubes of water are consumed daily for these activities.
According to the head of Zelenstroy, Peter Cheker, nine cars regularly go on the line. Works are carried out along thirty one streets. This year, two streets were added to the schedule: the Olympic and the 130th Taganrog divisions. Complex cleaning takes place in two stages. First, the roads are washed from the center of the road to the device part. Then, from seven in the morning, the vacuum cleaners PU Kommunalnik are cleaned the appliance.
Since June 1, routes have been developed together with the department of transport. They are laid along the streets with the most intensive traffic. These are the central and minor streets of all areas of the city. Approximate car mileage is about 150 km daily. During the cleaning, the pavement is also cooled,’ Pyotr Cheker said.
All machines are consistently involved in different locations. After washing the roads, trees are watered, and in the evening, flower beds are watered. Theater Square is also cleaned weekly.
Pyor Checker noted a positive trend in reducing acts of vandalism in the city parks and squares. Since the order of Mayor Vadim Boichenko, guards have been working at the facilities and video surveillance is being conducted. Besides, the routes of patrol policemen are laid as close as possible to valuable infrastructure facilities.
