At the session of Mariupol City Council, the deputies supported the approval of changes to the "Program for support and development of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Mariupol 2019-2021". They are expanding the circle of participants who can apply for grant support for their own business.
"Now in the program, to receive a municipal grant, not only entrepreneurs can take part, but also all residents of the city who have reached the age of majority," Yevgen Bodyagin, Director of the Department for Economics said.
It is worth noting that at the May session of last year, a local program for the selection of projects for micro and small enterprises and individual entrepreneurs was approved. With its help, entrepreneurs can, on an irrevocable basis, get the opportunity to attract financing for the development of their business. About UAH 1,500,000 was allocated to finance this program. Grants per enterprise amount to UAH 250 000 for financing on a non-refundable basis.
The first of these business ideas has already started working - it is a thematic cafe where you can taste Mariupol cake.
