Residents of Mariupol over 70 years old who have completed a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 will receive food baskets. An organizational procurement procedure is now underway.

The sets will consist of the most demanded products - pasta, cereals, flour, canned meat, sweets and tea. The total weight is over 5 kg. It is planned to start issuing them in mid-December. It will be held by appointment, the start of which will inform the residents additionally. To receive the kit, you must present your passport, TIN and a certificate of vaccination. In total, more than 2,600 grocery baskets will be purchased.

“Elderly people are at risk and more difficult to tolerate complications after illness. Vaccinations are a sure way to protect your health and care for those around you. By getting vaccinated against COVID-19, our parents and grandparents show their conscious stance. Grocery baskets are support and gratitude for their responsibility, ” Iryna Korobka, Director of the Department of Social Protection of the Population said.
