In Mariupol kindergarten No. 153 has begun an overhaul of the roof. About UAH 4.2 million were allocated for work. Mayor Vadim Boichenko checked the repairs in process.
Previously, this kindergarten was transferred to the balance of the city from the Mariupol Commercial Port. Head Victoria Pshenkina said that for a long time the roof of the institution was in disrepair. No repairs were made. In this regard, some rooms were flooded.
Vadim Boichenko set the task to the relevant units to bring all the affected rooms to proper condition. Then the Mayor went up to the roof and appreciated the progress of the repair.
Now workers are dismantling the old coating and installing new two layers of roofing material. The roof insulation is also carried out. Previously, this will reduce kindergarten energy consumption up to 30%. Previously, plastic windows were installed in the building for greater energy efficiency.
