Since 2016 727 mini-projects have been implemented to support condominiums in Mariupol. This year more than 180 are planned. Head of the department for the development and support of associations of co-owners of apartment buildings, Sergey Marchuk told about this.
‘Due to the initiative residents, 715 HOAs have been created in Mariupol and this is 40% of the multi-family housing stock. The city has developed a number of programs to support them. Among them there is a ‘Cozy Yard’, overhauls, as well as mini-projects. If we talk about mini-projects, these are current repairs aimed at energy efficiency and the creation of an optimal temperature regime in houses,’ Sergey Marchuk said.
One example is the HOA in the Kalmiusskiy district. They implemented two mini-projects for replacing windows with modern ones. The amount of its implementation - about UAH 90 000 and co-financing of condominiums is 21%.
Sergey Marchuk noted that the HOA support program in Mariupol will be developed further.
