Mariupol passes a budget for 2019

Today in Mariupol at the session of the City Council, the deputies have adopted the draft budget of the city for 2019. The budget for the next year is three times more than in 2015. He will make a record amount that is UAH 3 billion 144 million. More than UAH 1 billion - the development budget of the city.

The funds will be directed to the implementation of key projects of Mariupol. The Mayor Vadim Boichenko noted that the budget for 2019 meets the challenges of the Development Strategy of Mariupol-2021. It is based on sociological data, where the wishes of city residents lay down and priorities for development are identified.

 

‘The budget of 2019 is a fundamental and very important document. It reflects all the key areas that are laid down in the Strategy of Mariupol. The key one is the balance between operating costs and investments, which we direct to the development of our city,’
the Mayor stressed.

According to the Mayor, Mariupol embarked on the path of sustainable development. The positive changes that citizens saw in 2018 will be continued in the following.

The emphasis in the development budget is on supporting the conformation of the condominiums and the modernization of road and transport infrastructure. In addition, in 2019 they plan to switch to the implementation of large-scale projects designed to solve the key problems of the city. Among them there are such kind of issues as water supply, water disposal, outdoor lighting and a new transport model.
