Priazov State Technical University and DTEK Donetsk Electric Networks have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. It provides training and further employment of students in the energy company. The event was attended by the first deputy mayor Mikhail Kogut, the rector of Priazov State Technical University Vyacheslav Voloshin and the general director of DTEK Donetsk electric networks Alexey Degtyarev.
Mikhail Kogut noted that today Mariupol took the path of sustainable development and addressed the students.
‘We are modernizing and changing Mariupol so that you can see your future in your hometown. Today's event confirms that there are opportunities for employment and career growth in the city. There is a struggle for the best shots. This Memorandum gives you the opportunity to prepare for your future profession better and get the necessary knowledge and skills,’ Mikhail Kogut said.
Vyacheslav Voloshin noted that the purpose of the Memorandum is to train highly qualified personnel for an energy company. According to him, students will have the opportunity to participate in joint projects with DTEK and acquire practical skills directly in the enterprise.
In turn, Alexey Degtyarev spoke about the company's work, its achievements and prospects for students who want to link their future professional life with DTEK.
According to the Memorandum, the PSTU together with DTEK will implement the concept of dual training. It involves a combination of theoretical knowledge obtained at the university, with practical skills obtained directly at the enterprise.Due to this, students will be able to get working qualifications while studying, and the company will have better-trained personnel.
