This year in Mariupol about 110 flats for IDPs and orphans are planned to be purchased. Accepting applications from the residents has started on May 15 and it will last until June 15. But now there are cases of fraud.
‘We are faced with the fact that in the mailboxes of multi-storey buildings there were leaflets that a certain Kiev company is buying housing. They represent themselves to be the representatives of the city council and offer their services to people. We ask Mariupol residents to be careful and act within the law. All documents are filed officially only through the Center of Administrative Services. There can be no intermediaries in this matter,’ Svetlana Shtenda, director of the asset management department said.
In order to apply for housing, you must contact the Center with a passport, technical documentation for the apartment and an extract from the registry confirming the right of ownership.
As a result of last year, the city purchased 68 flats for immigrants and 43 flats for orphans. This year it is planned to purchase about 110 flats. 46 million UAH were allocated for the purchase.
