Today the representatives of the city council, public and business representatives have signed the Memorandum about cooperation and its intentions. It is aimed to lead an effective work in the field of environmental protection in the city.
The memorandum foresees the creation of the public resource center in Mariupol in the field of environmental protection to work out the cooperation of public representatives, power and business. It also involves the raise of participation of the citizens to improve management and assistance in the development of civil ecoculture on the basis of general values and understanding.
The head of Ecology and energy management division Vaagn Mnatsakanian signed the document on the part of the city council. On the part of the public representatives there was the head of ‘Green council’ of the executive committee Valentina Abalmasova, the representatives of public organizations ‘Green center Metinvest’, ‘Eco group’, ‘Mariupol development fund’, ‘Mariupol society of the Germans-Vidergeburt’, ‘Donbass Women’s Soviet’, ‘Mariupol Youth council’, ‘The soviet of HOA chairmen in Mariupol’, ‘Eco junk’ and the president of ‘Donetsk state management university’ Svetlana Marova. There was the cluster of solid waste and secondary raw material converter on the part of the business.
