Currently, reconstruction is underway in four preschool institutions: No. 32, 106, 110 and 114. The renovation works are financed by the European Investment Bank. The total cost is UAH 336.6 million.
Over the next five years, it is planned to make a major overhaul of gardens No. 59, 81, 151. Due to this, it will be possible to increase the design capacity of the buildings. It means - to increase the number of children. About UAH 250 million are going to be spent on restoration.
As part of the project "4 activities" the windows will be replaced until 2028 in all kindergartens in the city. Now tender procedures are underway in kindergartens No. 71 and 161. In addition, the renovation of canteens, music halls and the repair of constructions will continue.
‘We are facing an ambitious challenge - to renew the entire network of preschool education in the city. Over the past five years, we have started to move in this direction. Now the main thing is not to stop and continue to reconstruct kindergartens for the comfort of our children,’ the director of the Department of Education Tatyana Bratchikova said.
