In ‘SPALAH’ multicenter, the second open discussion of the Strategy for the development of micro, small and medium business in Mariupol has been held. The event was attended by the representatives of city authorities and the entrepreneurs.
Deputy Mayor Sergei Orlov noted that after the first meeting, many business representatives and public organizations sent their proposals and initiatives.
‘Our task is to develop a target program together on the basis of developments and proposals. It should be the basis for the development of entrepreneurship for the next three years,’ he noted.
Among the ideas there is the creation of four clusters (construction, logistics, tourism and agriculture), an increase in the number of small and medium businesses by 20% and officially employed workers. In addition, they suggested promoting platforms that provide formal and non-formal education. They plan to create favorable conditions for doing business.
The participants also discussed the main ideas of the business support program and the peculiarities of the creation of the Small and Medium Business Center. It will become a platform that will help new and existing entrepreneurs learn and create business plans.
