Today Mariupol residents have discussed the implementation of projects in Levyi Bereg District. Namely: the construction of sports facilities with artificial ice and a swimming pool.
The residents of Mariupol, the representatives of self-organizing committees of the population, deputies of the city council came to the meeting, in the assembly hall of the Levoberezhnyi district administration. Vadim Isakov, the head of the improvement department of the municipal housing infrastructure development department of the city council, spoke about the projects.
Thus, the construction of a sports facility provides several floors. On the first there will be an ice field with skate rental. On the second - a gym with changing rooms and showers. It is also planned a café bar and a lobby with tables for visitors in the building. The area for athletes will consist of a doctor's office, rooms for coaches and judges.
‘It is planned that the ice arena will be able to accommodate up to 300 spectators. At the same time, up to 68 people can skate on the ice field,’ Vadim Isakov said.
On the adjacent territory, a pedestrian are and green zones, basketball and workout grounds will be arranged.
The swimming pool is planned to be built in Volgogradskaya Str.There will be sports training sessions, competitions, aquaprograms, and parties on the water. The goal is to make the pool accessible to everyone. The building will have rooms for overcoming people with disabilities.
‘The hall will consist of a sports and children's pool. The hall itself will be equipped with a noise reduction system. It is planned that the stands for visitors will be sliding. Six tracks of the sports pool will be equipped with removable starting pedestals and push panels. The children's pool will have a lifting floor,’ Vadim Isakov said.
At the end of the meeting, Mariupol residents expressed their gratitude that the Levoberezhnyi District was being landscaped in the city.
