Today, a working meeting has been held between representatives of Mariupol City Council and Ukrainian Social Investment Fund. The parties discussed issues related to housing for IDPs.
Deputy mayor Mikhail Ivchenko told that these projects are important for Mariupol. They will give an opportunity to ‘new Mariupol residents’ to get modern and comfortable housing.
During the meeting, the representatives of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund expressed their suggestions how to improve housing renovation projects and planning decisions.
It should be noted that within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the city council and the foundation, it is planned to reconstruct two houses in the city in 137Nikopolsky Avenue and 27Rizhskaya Street as well as two kindergartens. The project implementer is the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund.
The reconstruction of the buildings will be carried out at the expense of the funds of the Government of Germany through the KfW bank.
