A working meeting on the implementation of probation programs and counteracting domestic violence has been held in the Kalmius district administration. The event was attended by the representatives of the branch of the State Institution "Probation Center", members of government agencies, public organizations and the department of social protection of the population of Mariupol City Council.
During the meeting, issues of the procedure for providing legal assistance and advice, drawing up procedural documents and representation of interests in court were discussed. The head of the Kalmiusky "Probation Center" Yulia Kobeschanova told the audience about the problem of preventing and combating domestic violence. The members of the working group discussed how to work with the abuser.
The issues of implementation of psycho-correction programs aimed at changing the convicted person of their behavior were discussed at the meeting.
In order to establish cooperation, the representatives of the state and public organizations discussed the mechanism of work in areas which will have a positive influence on the solution of the specified issues in the future.
