According to the fourth annual rating of Ukrainian cities and the municipal survey of the International Republican Institute (IRI), almost 70% of the polled Mariupol citizens support the work of the City Council. This indicator has grown by 20% in comparison with last year.
It has been announced today at the annual Conference of Democratic Governance which takes place 23,24 March in Kiev. As the Mayor admitted, this level of trust was achieved, first of all, due to quality work of the deputies.
‘It is also important that now all the processes of the City Council are open to the public. People are free to attend sessions of the commissions and coordination councils. The sessions are broadcasted online on one of the TV channels and on the network. People see the work of the deputy corps and put a decent estimation,’ the Mayor Vadim Boichenko said.
