‘Every tomorrow starts today’. Under this name, a large-scale All-Ukrainian youth forum will be held in Mariupol on October 28 and 29. More than 500 participants from all over the country will be able to take part in the creation of the ‘Visia of Ukraine 2030’. They will offer their vision of development to the President of Ukraine.

‘In the autumn of 2018, we have already held a similar forum. Then the youth worked on the Development Strategy of Mariupol. This year we will help young people to develop important areas of development for the whole country,’ Lily Tkachenko, deputy mayor said.

The organizers of the forum are Mariupol City Council, USAID and the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership. Within two days, the participants will work on proposals in five areas: private enterprise, national security, science, healthcare and education.

Liliya Tkachenko added that the event will present a series of Ukrainian Academy of Leadership in Mariupol. It will become a platform for cultural exchange between young people from different regions of Ukraine.

Ekaterina Chabala, UAL Deputy Administrative Manager, emphasized that the forum allows young people to see that they can also create the future of the country and be part of the changes.

According to USAID spokesman Artem Vivdich, it is especially important to hold the event in Mariupol. ‘This is not just a forum. It gives Mariupol and Eastern Ukraine the opportunity to propose their ideas and projects that can be part of the Development Strategy of Ukraine,’ he said.

Young people aged 14 to 20 years can take part in the forum. To do this, you need to submit an application until October 26 at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdv7hXJ4HiGeP4hyOQo0ftAwVCX2Q3UCFQPEe-3AABF8FWRrg/viewform
