The development of high-quality medicine, creation of comfortable conditions for the patients, a purchase of new modern equipment are in the list of Mariupol’s challenges. The city shows by its example that you can put into effect the health projects under support of strategic partners. Infectious disease ward of Matsuki City Hospital №4 is among them.
Vadim Novinskiy, the People’s Deputy and Yuriy Ryzhenkov, the Director General of ‘Metinvest Holding’ Ltd have watched the process of the project implementation. The City Mayor Vadim Boichenko showed the process of improvement of public health service and the way the cluster medicine is being built with the assistance of large business.
The total cost of major repairs project of the infectious disease ward of the City Hospital №4 is more than UAH 18 mln. The investments of ‘Azovstal Iron and Steel Works’ have counted UAH 8. 5 mln and the investments of ‘Metinvest’ group – UAH 1,2 mln. The ward is in process and it accepts small patients.
The patients are met by bright walls, a modern renovation, a creative design, a beautiful reception, comfortable wards and sympathetic personnel. Everything is thought out to the last detail. As an example, single beds are set in the wards where a child or a parent can be placed.
Besides, the disease ward is equipped with a modern medical equipment for UAH 6,3 mln. A fund of development of Mariupol has undertaken a creation of living environment of hospital surroundings.
In 2018-2019 complex repairs of the following structures of the city infectious center for infectious pathology treatment are planned to be lead.
It is worth mentioning, the repairs of the ward have become the next step of global reconstruction of the hospital №4 that started in 2006 within a framework of Social Partnership Program of Metinvest with the municipality. For this time over UAH 25 mln have been sent for major repairs of 8 hospital buildings.
