The municipality has purchased new equipment to control emissions effectively. Today it was transferred to the State Ecological Inspectorate in the Donetsk region.

‘This is the most modern equipment that exists in the country's market. With the help of two gas analyzers, we will be able to measure gaseous products at stationary facilities. We will get the result immediately. The spectrophotometer will allow to determine the concentration of pollutants in waters, soils, surface waters, including the Sea of Azov,’ Lyubov Galushko, head of the Department of the State Environmental Inspection in Donetsk region said.

She added that the inspectorate had to use outdated equipment. Therefore, the new technique is relevant and necessary. According to Deputy Mayor Serhii Zakharov, the municipality helped to purchase modern equipment because it understands the importance of the environmental issue in the city.

‘The environmental issue is one of the key issues in the city. New technical equipment of European quality will allow to control emissions and obtain real data on the environmental situation,’ he said.
