The architects from different cities of Ukraine present the projects of the housing of future in Mariupol

In the framework of the competition STEEL FREEDOM 2018, the initial  architects from different cities of Ukraine have presented their projects of residential buildings in  A. Kuindzhi Center for Contemporary Art. The competition in Mariupol was held with the support of Metinvest Group. The prize fund amounted to UAH 250 000. Vadim Boichenko came to see and evaluate the work.

‘Thank you for solving an important task for Ukraine as a whole and for Mariupol in particular. I am proud that today there are talented young people in our country who see infrastructure projects in bright colors. I like that you have a non-standard creative thinking. I believe in your projects and I am sure that they will soon come to life,’
the Mayor stressed.

According to Alexander Kaverin, the Head of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture, all the projects are innovative. He also noted that the city needs architects and suggested that all those who were present there would think about moving to Mariupol.

During the event, six finalists presented their projects. Each of them was unique. But all were guided by such qualities as comfort for residents, energy efficiency and originality of facades.

According to the results of the competition, the architects of the best projects were awarded with diplomas and awards.

It is worth noting that STEEL FREEDOM is an annual architectural competition aimed at developing of innovative projects in the field of real estate creation.
