Two kindergartens №32 and № 114 are undergoing major repairs in the Left Bank district. The projects are being implemented within the framework of “ Major Construction” national project at the expense of the non-returnable investments of the European Investment Bank, which has allocated more than UAH 700 million to Mariupol for the repair of schools, kindergartens and medical institutions. Mayor Vadym Boichenko inspected the progress of the work.

Today preschool institutions take on a new look. They create conditions for children with disabilities. Energy-saving measures are being introduced, which will reduce the costs of the heat carrier by 70% and the consumption of electricity by 5%. All rooms and groups will be equipped with modern equipment and furniture. It is important that additional fire exits will be opened in each building, ventilation and fire systems will be replaced.
Thus, nursery-kindergarten №32 "Dyvosvit" has not known repairs since the construction of the building in 1951. Its large-scale reconstruction began this spring. Today, dismantling work is being completed, windows have been replaced, roof repairs, walls reinforcement continue, electrical work is underway, and internal water supply networks are being replaced. The offices will have a warm floor and the control frame will automatically regulate the heat supply. In addition, a sports field will be equipped. The total cost of the project is UAH 55.8 million. 54, 5 million UAH are allocated by the EIB, 1.3 million UAH – by the funds from the city budget.
Due to the overhaul, the kindergarten will be able to accommodate more children. Three more will be added to the existing nine groups.
The project of overhaul of nursery-kindergarten № 114 "Kalinka" includes insulation of the building, replacement of utilities, finishing work, landscaping, playgrounds and landscaping of the territory. Today, dismantling work, floor screed, laying of external power supply networks are underway.
The total cost of the project is over UAH 55 million. The renovated nursery-garden is scheduled to open in the fall of 2021. Reconstruction of the building will increase its design capacity and take up to 200 pupils.
