Now there is a large-scale overhaul in kindergarten No.114. It will transform it into a modern, developing space of the European standard. The reboot of the institution is being implemented within the framework of the national program “Great Construction”. The progress of the work was checked by the deputy mayor Olexandr Kochurin together with representatives of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
‘The renovation of the building will increase the design capacity and receive more than 200 kids every day. Specially equipped inclusive classrooms will appear. The premises will be as comfortable and accessible as possible. Thus, we expand the opportunities for our children,’ Olexandr Kochurin said.
The renovation is financed through a non-repayable investment from the European Investment Bank. The funds for additional work were allocated by the state, regional and local budgets. The total amount is about UAH 80 mln.
Overhaul of the kindergarten includes insulation of the building, replacement of utilities, equipment for the catering unit, creation of playgrounds and landscaping of the territory. Now dismantling works, floor screed have been completed, external power supply networks have been laid. It is planned to open the renovated nursery and kindergarten before the end of this year.
