More and more "Cozy Courtyards" are being created in Mariupol every day. They become recreation and leisure centers for residents. Now there are more than 250 of them. The condominiums "Victoria-88" (88 Voinov-Vyzvolyteliv Str.) and "Victoria-90" (90 Voinov-Vyzvolyteliv Str.) also received a modern adjoining territory. The Mayor Vadym Boichenko signed a memorandum of cooperation with the heads of two associations.
“When we jointly take responsibility for our home and city, we see the result. HOA is a tool that makes Mariupol cozy and comfortable. This is important for the future of our children, who must live and develop in their hometown,” Vadym Boichenko said.
The residents note that the adjacent territory had been abandoned. There were several shops and those were broken. Now the yard has been radically transformed: new benches, gazebos, asphalt road and flower beds. The total amount of support for two condominiums from the city budget is more than UAH 3.5 million.
“People began to spend more time in the yard to communicate. Now we hear children's laughter every day. I would like to appreciate the Mayor for such support and such a project,” Natalya Prokopenko, chairman of the Victoria-88 condominium building said.
In total, 875 condominiums are registered in Mariupol, including more than 900 houses. In Levoberezhny district - 205. Total funding from the city budget is more than UAH 790 million. In 2020, it is planned to implement 101 major repairs, 288 mini-projects and 85 Cozy Courtyards.
