A modern specialized playground has been opened in Levoberezhnyi district social rehabilitation center. It will provide the children’s need for daily activities and diversify their summer activities within the walls of the center. The opening ceremony was attended by the director of the department of social protection of the population of Mariupol city council, Andrei Rempel.
He congratulated the children on the International Children's Day and noted the importance of the work of such centers for the whole city. Site improvement and the purchase of special attractions became possible with the active assistance of Mariupol City Council and sponsorship of the UN Refugee Agency with the assistance of international donors.
An interactive concert was held at the center as part of the celebration of the Children's Day. Vocal and dance performances were presented by pupils of music schools and City houses of creativity. Besides, pediatric dog handlers conducted canestherapy sessions for children.
The holiday ended with a show program of soap bubbles. Each child received a gift from Mariupol City Council.
