In the modern Cardiology Center at the base of the emergency hospital, 100 people with acute myocardial infarction have been operated. The institution receives daily from 1 to 5 people with such a diagnosis.
The cardiocenter began its work since September 2018. It was equipped with modern equipment, major repairs were made there. This is a European-level institution whose employees have already saved a lot of human lives. A new angiograph, that costs UAH 18 mln, helps them to carry out complex operations. It was purchased at the expense of the state and the city.
According to Sergey Orleanskiy, the chief physician of the Cardiology Center, from 1 to 5 people with acute myocardial infarction come to the cardiology center every day. They all require emergency care.
‘79 stents have been installed to 100 operated patients. Every second heart attack is a very complicated case and a difficult operation. We are ready to provide assistance day and night. High-quality equipment helps us to provide complex operations,’ Sergey Orleanskiy said.
