The major repair works of the ambulant clinic №3 for adults and children on the basis of the Center of Primary Healthcare. They accept the patients. More than 80 000 population is served there. More than 12 000 of them are children. According to Mayor Vadym Boichenko, it is one more step to the creation of the medicine of the European level.
“Today 80% of patients with COVID-19 are accepted by the primary ambulant clinic. Family doctors lead ambulant cases that is more than a thousand of people. That is the reason why they need to have modern conditions and all the necessary things to diagnose in a quick way”, Vadym Boichenko summarized.
Chief Physician of the Central Ambulant Clinic №3 Olexander Lazarenko told that the buildings were in critical conditions. The central entrance to the ambulance for children did not operate for 25 years.
Today the medical establishments have a European view. The patients are met by modern record departments, there are zones for children in the ambulance for children. There is a parenting room. There is a laboratory and a fluorograph in the ambulant clinic.
“Our task is to create all the conditions to diagnose. The rooms of admitting physicians are equipped by all the necessary things: scales, height meters and pulse oximeters”, the deputy mayor of the city council said.
Ambulant clinic for children includes the rooms of family doctors and infectious disease, inoculative rooms and a record department. The room for delivery of medical tests, a manipulation room, a pharmacy, receptions for examination of temporary disabilities, a room for fever patients, a call center and a record department are located there. On the 2nd floor, for the convenience of receiving patients, the premises were redeveloped for each doctor and a physiotherapy room.
The first deputy mayor Mykhailo Kohut admitted that the municipal improvement of the adjacent territory is planned. It will become a part of the campus created on the basis of the Center of ambulant clinic №3.
“Renewed ambulant clinic will provide medical help on a new European level. Mariupol residents have got a quality service and the doctors have got a comfortable working space”, the city mayor summarized.
