The emergency lift and the roof are the problems that the residents of the block of flats on 103 Mira Avenue have been trying to solve for a long time. This year due to the programs for the development of housing and communal services, they will have a new lift and a renovated roof. The process has already begun. Their total cost is over 1 million.
There are two lifts in the fifteen-storey building on 103 Mira Avenue, they are for passengers and for cargos. They are over 40 years old. The first lift was in an emergency. And just a couple of months ago, a young mother with a child got stuck in it. The residents turned to the city council for help.
In early June, a contracting organization began to replace the passenger lift. The railways have already been replaced, an old equipment has been dismantled and the doors are being replaced. The replacement of window and door blocks, finishing works, installation of necessary equipment in a technical room, replacement of springs, cabin, counterweight, power grids in the shaft, installation of call buttons and commissioning works are ahead. It has been planned to launch a new lift by October. The total cost of works is UAH 750 000.
There are 339 applications for lift replacement in total amount in the city. The design estimates 106 objects. In addition to the lift replacement, major repairs and expert examination of lifts are underway.
At the same time, the roof is being repaired in the house. The works started in May and they were completed in July. The disassembly of the roof covering, the device of the leveling screed, the plastering of the parapets, the replacement of the funnels of the internal drain pipe, the device of the first layer of the roof have already been completed. The last thing to do is to make a device galvanized boxes on parapets and the top layer. Total cost of works is UAH 378 000.
In total it is planned to renovate 86 roofs in the amount of UAH 51.3 million this year. 10 objects have already been completed in the amount of UAH 8.3 million. The trades are held in ‘Prozorro’ electronic system for 38 projects and 4 more objects are under examination.
