During the visit to Mariupol, the medical delegation from Turkey has got acquainted with the work of the Primary Health Care Center No. 3. They assessed the quality of service delivery in the adult and pediatric outpatient clinics.

Olexander Lazarenko, head physician of the Primary Healthcare Center No. 3, said the buildings were overhauled last year. Due to this, residents of Mariupol can receive medical services in new, comfortable conditions.

‘We serve over 80 thousand people. About 12 thousand are children. It was important for us to create modern reception conditions for them and decent working conditions for doctors,’ the chief physician said.

There are family doctors' offices, a laboratory, a manipulation room and a communal pharmacy in the adult outpatient clinic. X-ray equipment is set. Besides, on the basis of a medical institution, the specialists conduct receptions. There is a gynecologist, surgeon, neurologist and ophthalmologist among them.

The children's outpatient clinic includes offices of family doctors and infectious diseases, a vaccination office and a registry. Children's zones are located in the corridors.

‘We visited your clinics today. We saw satisfied patients. The purpose of our visit is a mutual exchange of knowledge and experience. We want to be useful both for your country and for our country,’ the general director of the group of clinics, Ugur Genc said.
