The second city work party has taken place in Mariupol. On the Environment Day, more than 10 thousand of Mariupol residents went to the streets of their native city to clean it from the seasonal garbage.
The employees of the municipality, deputies, the representatives of HOAs, enterprises and residents of the city came there. About 25 units of utility equipment were involved.
‘This is the second work party organized by us this spring. Another one will take place. The main task is to bring order to our beloved Mariupol. Together with employees of Green Construction public utility, we clean our green areas from last year’s foliage,’ Igor Babek, Director of the Department for Housing and Communal Infrastructure Development said.
About 150 employees of the municipality cleaned one of the most picturesque alleys of the sea city - the ‘Anchor’ alley in Primorskiy Park. Listening fiery music, they actively put the city in order on that sunny Saturday morning.
