Today kindergartens take on a new look in Mariupol. They create conditions for children with disabilities. Recreation areas are becoming more comfortable and classes are held in modern interactive classrooms. This becomes possible due to major overhauls. One of them is now being conducted in kindergarten No.110.
‘Before the kindergaten was closed for overhaul, there were specialized groups of ecological-valeological, logical-mathematical, physical and health-improving directions in the kindergarten. There were also circles for studying English, a theater and dance, speech therapy center. After the opening for classes, even more modern conditions will be created that will expand the opportunities for our children and will encourage their desire to learn new things about the world around them,’ deputy mayor Olexandr Kochurin said.
After the overhaul, the building will become energy efficient. The project provides the installation of window and door blocks, roof repair, reinforcement and cladding of walls, finishing work, insulation of facades, replacement of internal utilities, fire alarms. The territory and playground will also be landscaped.
The project is financed from the non-returnable investments of the European Investment Bank. Additional financing was provided by the state, regional and local budgets. The total cost of overhaul and equipping with new furniture is more than UAH 82 million.
