During the meeting, the executive committee has reviewed 46 issues. Special attention was paid to revenues and expenditures of the local budget. Besides, there were the following issues on the agenda: the approval of technical projects, the allocation of social housing for immigrants and the creation of the Green Council in Mariupol.
The meeting has began with the gifts. So, pupils of school No. 7 handed over to Mayor Vadim Boichenko an interpretation of the city’s logo. The picture with the ‘anchor’ was created by the joint efforts of students from plastic caps. As part of the eco-campaign, about 27 000 were collected. Students expressed their gratitude to the Mayor for his active work in improving the infrastructure of the city.
In turn, Vadim Boichenko thanked the guys for their activity.
Among the key technical projects adopted are the fountain on Freedom Square, the construction of a swimming pool in Levoberezhnyi district and the overhaul of the administrative building, on the basis of which the Ukrainian Leadership Academy will be created.
The active discussion at the meeting led to the creation in the city of an ecological organization of the new format - the Green Council. It will consist of 23 people and its first meeting will be held by the end of May. The main activity is raising awareness of the population in environmental literacy issues, developing projects to improve the environmental situation in the city.
The solutions for the provision of housing to displaced persons were approved. One of the unique cases was the inclusion of an apartment, donated to the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, to the number of service housing areas. Thus, the Mariupol women wanted to thank the defenders of the country.
