A second-year student of ‘Translation (English)’ specialty of Mariupol State University, Sergey Lisyura has attended the presentation of the documentary film ‘Anja und Serjoscha’, where he played the leading role. The presentation took place in Germany.
Mariupol students Sergey Lysyura, Anna Shishman and Dmitry Kolda became the characters of a documentary about life in an industrial front-line city. The film was produced by directors Yvette Lokker and Inga Pilipchuk, as well as a film crew from Berlin. The shooting took place in April-May 2018 in Mariupol, including at the Faculty of Greek Philology and Translation of Mariupol State University.
The film is about two students living in an industrial city near a war zone. Despite all the difficulties, they strive to be bright, think independently, initiate social projects and, most importantly, remain best friends.
The presentation of the film ‘Anja und Serjoscha’ was held in the Berlin cinema "Colloseum" and in the gymnasium of the city of Mjors. The German public accepted the film warmly and during its discussion asked the guests a lot of questions about life in the East of Ukraine.
Besides, the film characters met with students of the Humboldt University of Berlin who study Slavic studies.
