‘Smart hive’ will help to be an entrepreneur

Yesterday the official opening of the business education project “Development of the potential of the business environment for the social and economic revival of the Donetsk region “Smart Hive” took place. It is implemented by ‘Misto Zmіn’public organization  in partnership with the Regional Training Center for Business Skills "Priazovie" at Priazov State Technical University with funding from GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).

The goal of the project is to restore the entrepreneurial potential of Donbass by providing additional opportunities for business development, reducing unemployment, reviving small and medium-sized businesses.

As the head of the public organization ‘Misto Zmіn’ Ivan Volchok, the project gives an opportunity for schoolchildren, students and entrepreneurs to realize themselves and  to build their own business.

GIZ representative Sasha Kun emphasized that this project contributes to the development of not only Mariupol but the entire region.

The head of the economic analysis section of the entrepreneurial potential of the Economic Department of Mariupol City Council, Andrei Sliota, expressed his willingness to help the project. He emphasized the need to diversify the economy: ‘We see this through the development of small and medium businesses. We want to see more productions, more players in the creative industry, IT, enterprises ‘.

The project activity is designed for six months. Pupils of schools and colleges aged 14-18, students of Mariupol universities, entrepreneurs who are beginners and those who have lost their business can take part in it.
