Based on the results of 15 dialogue meetings with city residents at the I’Mariupol support centres in 2023, one of the key topics of discussion was the vision for the city's economy, which challenged the Mariupol City Council to develop a Vision for Economic Revival that would enable the best preparation for the restoration of the city of Mariupol and the return of its residents after de-occupation.
We plan to involve a consulting company, with the support of the Gdańsk Development Agency (InvestGda), to develop the Vision for Economic Revival.
The work is planned to be carried out in the following areas:
- description of local and global economic conditions that affect the city’s development
- definition of the vision of the city's economic development
- identification of available economic information and analytical materials
- preparation of project proposals with description, budget and expected results for the city's economy
- development of the Strategy implementation plans, including preparation of a road map and project implementation schedule
