This year 29 new lighting fixtures using LED technologies will be installed along Levanevskoho Str. - from Mira Ave. to Mytropolytska Str. This project is being implemented within the framework of a signed grant agreement with USAID. It includes five small infrastructure smart projects that were chosen by the residents themselves through electronic voting.
Outdoor lighting in this year requires replacement of outdated fixtures with new ones at this time. The use of incandescent lamps leads to the consumption of a large amount of electricity and additional costs of funds to pay for the consumed electricity.
The installation of modern LED lighting will reduce energy consumption. The savings will amount to more than UAH 30 000 per year. In addition, the new luminaries will improve road safety. The project cost is about UAH 400 000. It will be implemented with funds from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
