It is planned to transfer 80% of the housing stock to condominiums by 2025. This was told by the director of the department for the development of housing stock and repair of communal property Serhii Marchuk on the day of the deputy.
He recalled that back in 2015, only 4% of the houses (72 units) in the city were in condominiums. Today it is 65% (1245 houses). During this time, due to the Support Program, 487 major repairs were carried out, 415 "Cozy Yards" were made, 1331 mini-projects were implemented. The total investment package is over UAH 1 billion.
“There is no similar Housing Support Program in any Ukrainian city. More than 200,000 residents have received a new quality of life,” Serhii Marchuk said.
The Director of the Department presented the continuation of the Program for 2021-2026. According to it, in three years, 1515 condominiums will be created in the city. Until 2030, it is planned to implement 1,028 major repairs, 1,100 Cozy Yards, and 1,699 mini-projects. General investments are UAH 2.8 billion.
Mayor Vadym Boichenko appreciated the heads of condominiums for believing in the program and sharing responsibility with the municipality.
“I remember how difficult it was to create the first condominiums. How many condominiums have been created for five years shows that we have managed to create an effective program. It changed the attitude of residents to their homes and opened up new opportunities for the development of the housing stock,” Vadym Boichenko noted.
