The means of safety fund of the city council in total amount of UAH 5 mln have been provided for 2020. They are directed to struggle with coronavirus infection. Anastasia Smorodskaia, temporarily in charge of the director of the department of the finances of the city council, told about usage of the means of safety fund of the city budget last year.
During the last year, two artificial lung ventilators were purchased. According to her, two ventilators were purchased UAH 3,4 mln. The equipment is being used in the city hospital №9.
«The means allocate funds from the safety fund in total amount of UAH 4,8 mln to purchase four artificial lung ventilators by the decision of the executive committee. The decision to decrease the sum in total amount of UAH 1,4 mln in accordance with the absence of the suggestions at the market of Ukraine of the artificial lung ventilators. Thus, the safety fund of the city is re-established”, Anastasia Smorodskaia admitted.
