Today Pyotr Poroshenko has celebrated Palm Sunday in Archangel Michael’s Cathedral in Mariupol.
The President of Ukraine consecrated willow, that is the main attribute of the holiday, together with the governor of the Donetsk region Pavel Zhebrivskiy, the mayor of Mariupol Vadim Boichenko, the deputies and church members. The President also spoke with representatives of the community and congratulated everyone with the holiday.
